Don Papa Rye Aged Rum has a beautiful golden color , the result of the union between the green rye fields of the United States and the fresh sea breeze of the Philippines, a mix that gives the distillate the characteristic sweet notes of molasses, but also spicy, vegetal and intense hints of aging, carried out in ex-American Rye Whisky barrels.

The final result is a rum with dry and spicy notes , which leaves hints of honey and pepper on the palate , with a very delicate finish tending towards apple and with a slightly savoury note due to the wood of the ex-rye barrels.

Don Papa Rum is produced, aged and bottled on the island of Negros, the most important sugarcane producing area in the Philippines.

This beautiful island, characterized by rugged mountain ranges, vast white beaches and impenetrable lush jungles, thanks to its volcanic soil produces one of the richest and sweetest cane sugars in the world.

Launched in 2012 in the Philippines, Don Papa Rum quickly began to attract interest from all major Western markets, from the United States to Europe.

Don Papa's new limited-edition packaging combines the rich, sweet character of Philippine rum with the magic and poetry of the American Prohibition era, when in the 1920s most whiskeys were made from rye, a predominantly rye-based grain.
