A delicious 5-year-old rum from the New Grove distillery, based in Mauritius.
The spirit is aged in a mixture of different types of barrels, including old port casks and Limousin oak casks, for five years.
This produces a more intensely flavored rum.
This bottling offers notes of red fruits, cinnamon, candied red apple, chocolate, espresso, port wine, red grapes, plums, cherries, French wood spice, vanilla, burnt sugar, coconut oak, and light anise.
This rum is bottled unfiltered which means it may become slightly cloudy at lower temperatures.
