ORIGIN OF THE GRAPE VARIETY

Zibibbo is both the name of a white grape variety (Moscato d'Alessandria) and of the sweet wine produced from it.

The word “zibibbo” derives from the Arabic word zabïb which means “raisins” or “dried grapes”.
