Additional details

"Bizzarro" is a sweet, special and unique rosé sparkling wine.
It is obtained from the sparkling process of a wine made from Manzoni-Moscato grapes.

These grapes possess the characteristics of Raboso Piave, a structured, fresh and robust wine, and those of the aromatic and elegant Moscato d'Amburgo.

Harmoniously combined together in a pleasant complicity, they make it ideal with desserts at the end of a meal or on any other occasion in combination with dry desserts, fine pastries and fruit or cream tarts.

PRODUCTION AREA: From the vineyards of Tenuta San Giorgio, cultivated in the "Grave di Papadopoli" and crossed by the Piave Wine Route.

The soils in this area are alluvial in origin, so they are gravelly and rich in silt and sand, but their dominant characteristics are good fertility and a natural and significant quantity of carbonates and microelements useful for the vine.

All these aspects, added to the microclimatic influence of the river, create a pedoclimatic zone and an ideal habitat for the vine.

HARVEST: End of September with aromatically ripe grapes

VINIFICATION: Classic rosé vinification of grapes obtained from the Manzoni Moscato grape variety.

The grapes, harvested at the right ripeness, after pressing, undergo low-temperature maceration on the skins to extract the colour and primary aromas of Moscato.

The must, without the skins, ferments cleanly with the help of selected yeasts essential for enhancing the particular varietal aromas of the grape variety.

Once the alcoholic fermentation is complete, the second fermentation takes place in an autoclave according to the Charmat method.

Recommended pairings

Excellent paired with chocolate-based desserts. It also pairs well with fresh fruit and fresh cheeses.

Serving temperature

Serve in flutes at 6/8°C
