Intense straw yellow that turns golden as it ages in the bottle.

Well-articulated aromatic range, which alternates inebriating fragrances of ripe white fruit with more subtle perceptive details of white-petalled wildflowers .

Hints of iodine and eucalyptus emerge ethereally in the finale.

On the palate it energetically manifests its presence with soft echoes of white-fleshed peach.

Enveloping, mineral, majestic, with good body and great harmony.

Surprising in its evolution in the bottle.

Additional details

Obtained from the grape of the same name, the result of a cross between Pinot Bianco and Rhine Riesling, Manzoni Bianco is a precious wine due to the low productivity of the grape itself and its organoleptic characteristics.

Grown in the stony, dry soils of the Grave del Piave, it expresses an undisputed typicality.

It is a wine with good elegance and finesse, supported by a discreet structure.

PRODUCTION AREA: From the vineyards of Tenuta San Giorgio, cultivated in the "Grave di Papadopoli" and crossed by the Piave Wine Route.

The soils in this area are alluvial in origin, so they are gravelly and rich in silt and sand, but their dominant characteristics are good fertility and a natural and significant quantity of carbonates and microelements useful for the vine.

All these aspects, added to the microclimatic influence of the river, create a pedoclimatic zone and an ideal habitat for the vine.

HARVEST: After the first half of September, at the height of its aromatic maturity.

VINIFICATION: The grapes, harvested when fully ripe, are destemmed, pressed and left to macerate at low temperatures for a few hours with the specific aim of enriching the must with the grape's characteristic primary aromas.

At the end of the maceration process, the must is removed from the skins and clarified by static decantation, then left to ferment at a controlled temperature using selected varietal yeasts.

After alcoholic fermentation, the new wine is racked and left to mature in steel tanks throughout the winter, awaiting pre-bottling filtration in spring.

Recommended pairings

Excellent with fish dishes. It also pairs well with fresh cheeses.

Serving temperature

Serve in a white wine glass at 8/10°C
