Tasting notes: On the eye, it presents a clear, ruby red color with garnet highlights and a consistent finish. On the nose, it is intense, complex, and refined, with floral aromas of dried violets; fruity notes of small black berries in jam , especially blackcurrants and blackberries; spicy notes of licorice and vanilla; notes of coffee, sweet tobacco from the long aging in barriques and large oak barrels , and herbaceous and ethereal notes. On the palate, it is dry, warm, soft , fresh, tannic, and with a good savory texture. Full-bodied, intense, and with a long, persistent finish .

Baiardo is a well-known district in the municipality of Montemarano, not only for the Aglianico grape that produces one of the finest Taurasi wines in the entire region, but above all for the miracle performed here by Saint John of Montemarano during his lifetime. He transformed the barren lands, left barren by famine and Saracen and Norman raids, into fertile land to support the people, using water from the Calore River. Indeed, a spring, Sorgente Baiardo, still resides in this district today, making this area highly suited to viticulture.
A wine that, due to its importance, we wanted to have signed by our father, the one who made our dreams come true.
