Caesar's Dream
The ancient Mantovani Distilleries were founded in the early 19th century in Mirabello di Ferrara, thanks to the intuition and courage of Cesare, the family founder. Self-taught, Cesare decided to found a company where the pleasure of homemade products was transformed into artisanal products.
Curiosity pushed him to travel and get to know lands and companies that could supply him with high quality raw materials.

From the very beginning, the distillery created innovative products both in typology and presentation.
These particular bottles can still be found today in the company museum inside the distillery.

The heirs' "recipes"
The company's success was passed down from generation to generation, and even during the most difficult times, production remained active. Renato Mantovani, who led the company during the Second World War, was the first to invest in marketing, offering branded promotional items.

Renato's son, Paolo, managed to market his spirits throughout the country,
especially with dessert liqueurs, the handwritten recipes of which are still kept in the company today and are a source of suggestions for production.

The distillery instead of the lazaretto
Ugo, Paolo's son, in the spirit of the founder, abandoned Mirabello for the love of a beautiful woman from Polesano, Gabriella, and in 1970 moved the company to Pincara, in the province of Rovigo, where its current headquarters are.

The distillery was built in what was supposed to be a "lazaret," but which had always been a space used by the town for celebrations. Perhaps it is this spirit that makes the ancient Mantovani Distilleries a place of encounter and cultural exchange, thanks also to the company museum visited by over 10,000 people each year.

The Museum
"The Future in Memory" is the name of the company museum created in 2004 by Anna and Paolo Mantovani in memory of their grandfather. The museum offers visitors an exploratory, educational, and educational tour of the production of spirits and liqueurs. In 2004, it was awarded the Arsimpresa Polesine prize in recognition of the project's contribution to the development of the local area and its significant investment in the cultural sector.

A future of courage and passion
Today, Anna and Paolo, supported by their parents Ugo and Gabriella, are dedicated to spreading the love of spirits and their love for the local area. From this partnership, the desire to create something new once again was born, to encapsulate over a century of expertise in a new project, something unique and innovative.
