The name Kamiki means Breath of God and derives from Ōmiwa, one of the oldest Shinto shrines in Japan (in Nara), a tutelary temple of Japanese alcohol producers .
Kamiki is a small batch, unchill-filtered blended malt whisky made from rare Japanese malt whiskies blended with pure , high-quality Japanese spring water.
Kamiki is the world's first whisky finished in Japanese cedar barrels , used for centuries in the construction of temples and called “Yoshino Sugi”, considered the best wood for the production of barrels for Japanese drinks , thanks to its refreshing scent.
Intense Wood Extra Aged Japanese Whisky is the special version of the traditional Kamiki with a much longer and more intense aging.
