Nobushi Pure Malt, golden in color with amber reflections, is warm with hints of nuts and raisins on the nose, while on the palate it stands out for its notes of vanilla, almond and spices.

KIYOKAWA CO. LTD. is a leading independent producer of handcrafted, small-batch blended Japanese whisky. Kiyokawa is located in the mountainous northern part of Nagano Prefecture, bordering Niigata Prefecture to the north. The area is known for harsh winters with heavy snowfall and a warm continental climate in summer, ideal conditions for barrel aging. Whisky was introduced to Japan after the end of the feudal era in the Meiji period, and commercial production for home consumption began in the 1920s. Japanese whisky is similar to Scottish whisky because the pioneers of Japanese whisky learned their craft from Scottish whisky masters.
