Additional details

First created in 1886, Douglas Laing & Co.’s “King of Scots” bears in its name and label the memory of the ancient crown of Scotland, independent for centuries before coming under the dominion of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

The traditional symbol of the Scottish royals was the red lion rampant, which today stands out on the attire of the “King of Scots”.

The product combines the richest and sweetest of Scottish grain whiskies with a high proportion of aged malts, thus creating a blend with exclusive characteristics.

Douglas Laing’s premium blended Scotch whisky gets a smoky makeover here, with the master blender pairing sweet single grain whiskies with a high proportion of whiskies sourced predominantly from Islay distilleries.

Recommended pairings

Excellent paired with smoked meats. It also pairs well with dark chocolate.

Serving temperature

Serve in a Glencarn at 18/20°C
