VINEYARDS OF ORIGIN
96 Chardonnay vineyards, with an average age of 27 years, located in the municipalities of Erbusco, Adro, Cazzago San Martino, Corte Franca, Iseo, and Passirano. 3 Pinot Bianco vineyards, with an average age of 21 years, located in the municipality of Passirano.

17 Pinot Noir vineyards, with an average age of 19 years, located in the municipalities of Erbusco, Provaglio d'Iseo and Passirano.

HARVEST TIME
First and second ten days of August.

AVERAGE YIELD PER HECTARE
7,500 kilograms of grapes, equivalent to 4,730 litres of wine (fruit yield: 63%).

VINIFICATION
The base wines of the Cuvée Prestige are obtained by applying a rigorous winemaking protocol.

The hand-picked grapes are coded vineyard by vineyard, cooled in a cell and, before being pressed whole, are selected by expert eyes and hands.

Alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled steel tanks, where the wines remain until the following March.

Seven further months of aging are necessary for the wine to clarify, mature and bring out the character of the vineyards of origin.

The wines are then expertly blended with noble reserve wines from the best vintages (20 to 30%) in the “magic ritual” of creating the cuvée.

This particular technique gives the Cuvée Prestige a distinct personality.

The essence of Franciacorta, Ca' del Bosco style. Only after an average aging period of 25 months on the lees can this Franciacorta express its full richness and identity.

Disgorgement takes place in the absence of oxygen, using a unique system, designed and patented by Ca' del Bosco.

This avoids oxidative shock and further additions of sulphites, making our Franciacortas purer, more pleasant and longer-lived.

Finally, each packaged bottle is uniquely marked to ensure traceability.
