This Dolcetto comes from the “Schiena del Crottino” vineyard located in the municipality of Rodello.

The vineyards are hilly; at an altitude of 460 meters, they face south, southwest; the soil is fairly lean, marl-limestone, and lies on a layer of rock that allows for ideal ripening of the grapes.

It is a wine with an intense ruby ​​red color with typical purple reflections.

Vinous on the nose with hints of violet and ripe red fruit; still plenty of fruit on the palate in an enveloping softness with a dry, fresh and clean finish.

GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION:
This Dolcetto comes from the “Schiena del Crottino” vineyard located in the municipality of Rodello.

The vineyards are hilly; at an altitude of 460 meters, they face south, southwest; the soil is fairly lean, marl-limestone, and lies on a layer of rock that allows for ideal ripening of the grapes.

VINEYARDS AND SYSTEM:
The 4.85 hectare “organically managed vineyard” consists exclusively of Dolcetto with clonal material of Italian origin.

The vineyard is Guyot-trained with 5,000 vines per hectare; the vines are 33 years old.

TECHNOLOGICAL NOTE:
The vinification process involves an average maceration of 9 days, with several daily pumping overs and fermentation at a constant and controlled temperature.

After maturing in stainless steel tanks, the wine ages for 2 months in 30-hectoliter wooden barrels, followed by 6 months of bottle aging.

WINE CHARACTER:
It is a wine with an intense ruby ​​red color with typical purple reflections.

Vinous on the nose with hints of violet and ripe red fruit; on the palate, still plenty of fruit in an enveloping softness with a dry, fresh, and clean finish.

Recommended pairings
