It is perhaps the most typical alcoholic product of the Canary Islands.
It is obtained by combining Ron Añejo agricol produced from fresh Canarian sugar cane juice with honey from local bees : therefore no use of neutral alcohol or artificial flavours.
The Aldea Distillery was founded in 1936 by Manuel Quevedo Alemán on the island of Gran Canaria.
In 2005 this flavoured rum obtained the denomination of origin , and opened the market to other innovative typologies, for example the caramel one.
