Don Papa Rum takes its name from Papa Isio, a great revolutionary hero in the war of liberation of the Philippines from Spanish domination.

His legendary energy and indomitable spirit live on in every bottle that bears his name today.

Don Papa Rum is produced, aged and bottled on the island of Negros, the most important sugarcane producing area in the Philippines.

This beautiful island, characterized by rugged mountain ranges, vast white beaches and impenetrable lush jungles, thanks to its volcanic soil produces one of the richest and sweetest cane sugars in the world.

Launched in 2012 in the Philippines, Don Papa Rum quickly began to attract interest from all major Western markets, from the United States to Europe.

• Raw material: Molasses from the best sugar cane on the Philippine island of Negros.

• Production and aging: After distillation, Don Papa Rum is aged for over 7 years in American oak barrels at the foot of Mount Kanlaon.

This is followed by charcoal filtering and blending before bottling.
