To produce Naga Siam 10 Years, sugarcane grown on the Indonesian island of Java is fermented and distilled five times. The rum is matured in ex-bourbon oak barrels.

The maturing room is underground so that the temperature can be kept constant.

After 10 years of maturation , the rum is bottled.

Color: Amber.

Nose: Spicy, sweet, brown sugar, woody notes.

Taste: Spicy, sweet, candied fruit, notes of vanilla, oak and tobacco.

Finish: long lasting.

Naga Rum Of Indonesia Java Reserve is a distillate produced only with local ingredients, sourced from the island of Java from which they obtain sugar cane and derivatives (molasses and yeasts).

The production phase begins with the very slow fermentation of molasses obtained from sugar cane from the island of Java, to which red rice yeast, a typical Javanese product, is added.

Finally, the Naga Rum Java Reserve undergoes an initial refinement in wooden barrels called Jatti, and a final aging in wooden barrels that previously contained Bourbon, for a total of 7 years of maturation.

Naga Rum is a tribute to Indonesian tradition. Naga is a mythical being in Hinduism, but the word also means "Serpent".

In religion, Nagas preserve the treasures of nature, are attached to water and bring prosperity.

In the legends of India and throughout Southeast Asia, the Nagas are inhabitants of the underworld where they jealously guard the treasures of the earth.

Recommended pairings

Excellent paired with dark chocolate and caramel desserts. It also pairs well with dried fruit and aged cheeses.
