Appearance : Antique gold, intense amber yellow with bright copper reflections and a pleasant clarity.

Aroma : Notes of candied citrus, pepper, caramel, dried fruit, malt, ginger and salty nuances intertwine harmoniously.

Intense spicy tones of cloves, plum jam and hints of cherries in alcohol and raisins also emerge.

From the heart of the Silvio Carta distillery in Sardinia comes the Whisky From Sardinia Single Malt, distilled twice in a copper still built according to Silvio Carta's specifications in the province of Siena in 1985.

The refinement takes place in centuries-old Sardinian chestnut barrels, used exclusively for the aging of Vernaccia di Oristano wine and dating back to 1852, giving the whisky a uniqueness in the world of distilled beverages.

Our distillery enjoys a privileged geographical position, just a few kilometers from the sea, giving Silvio Carta Whisky a complex character enriched with salty and slightly marine notes.

Recommended pairings

Excellent paired with smoked meats. It also pairs well with dark chocolate.
