Experts in the art of underground aging since 1976, Sakurao Distillery has been aging its whiskies in oak barrels buried at the foot of Mount Osorakan, several hundred meters underground.
These surrounding mountains are also particularly generous for the Togouchi brand, as the water used is also taken from the Oze River.
These unique and differentiating characteristics contribute to the development of a range of elegant, fruity whiskies, precisely blended.
Aged in bourbon barrels then refined for 3 months in sake barrels sourced directly from the Chugoku Jozo cellars
Delicate on the nose – Vanilla, green apple, malt
On the palate it is complex – Lactic, woody, white fruits
The finish is long – White fruit, spices, malt
