Nobushi Blended Whisky bears the name of a group of elite warriors, descendants of feudal-era Japan. This Japanese-origin whisky is crafted using a magnificent combination of whiskies from Miyagi and Nagano . These spirits are then blended and aged in American oak barrels in Kiyokawa . Nobushi Blended Whisky stands out for its impeccable balance , refinement, and velvety smoothness . Amber in color with golden highlights, Nobushi Blended Whisky offers a bouquet that is an explosion of floral aromas, enriched with notes of dried fruit and spices , with a touch of woodiness that adds complexity . On the palate, it reveals a pleasant body, characterized by tones of caramel and vanilla that create an enveloping taste experience.

Additional details

KIYOKAWA CO. LTD. is a leading independent producer of handcrafted, small-batch blended Japanese whisky. Kiyokawa is located in the mountainous northern part of Nagano Prefecture, bordering Niigata Prefecture to the north. The area is known for harsh winters with heavy snowfall and a warm continental climate in summer, ideal conditions for barrel aging. Whisky was introduced to Japan after the end of the feudal era in the Meiji period, and commercial production for home consumption began in the 1920s. Japanese whisky is similar to Scottish whisky because the pioneers of Japanese whisky learned their craft from Scottish whisky masters.
